Abraham Osborn-14834 is named as father of Solomon Enos Osborn-14836 and Clark H. Osborn-14837 in the entries for their deaths in the Norwalk, CT death register. Clark H. Osborn's death entry gives his mother's name as Hester and also gives his father's place of birth as Ridgefield. In the 1810 census Abraham Osborn-14834 is listed immediately after Dorcas Osborn, widow of Jonah Osborn[#7735] in the 1810 census in Ridgefield, CT. Listed immediately prior to Dorcas Osborn in the 1810 census is Solomon Enos. A guardian settlement shows Mrs. Dorcas Osborn was guardian of Dorcas Enos, late Dorcas Osborn and husband of Solomon Enos. Jonah Osborn-7735 died without issue. Consequently Jonah Osborn-7735's will names a number of nieces and nephews, among them Dorcas Osborn daughter of his brother Gamaliel Osborn[#7738]. In the 1800 census Gamaliel Osborn-7738 was an immediate neighbor of Dorcas Osborn(Jonah's widow). Jonah Osborn-7735 had just one other other brother, Ezekiel Osborn[#7737]. Ezekiel Osborn-7737 moved out of Ridgefield prior to 1800 and is known not to have had a son named Abraham. Thus it is certain that Abraham Osborn-14834 is a son of Gamaliel Osborn-7738. Unfortunately, no death, probate, or cemetery record has yet been found for Abraham Osborn-14834. Consequently his family is largely unknown, except for his two sons Solomon Enos Osborn-14836 and Clark H. Osborn-14837. A GEDCOM posted at Ancestry/RootsWeb gives a Caroline Osborn(marr. Walter R. Doty and buried in Norwalk) whose father is given as Abraham Osborn(born in Danbury) and mother as Electa Hickok. Walter and Caroline (Osborn) Doty's first child was named Hester Electra Doty. If the information in this GEDCOM is correct, then it would seem that Caroline Osborn was a daughter of Abraham Osborn-14834.
