Comments

"History of the Osborne(East Bridgewater family)" in Representative Men and Old Families of Southeastern Massachutts (Vol. II, page 750) gives the surname of George Osborn's second wife Deborah as "Atwood". Research by Sharon Moore would indicate otherwise. See Sharon's family group record for George for details. Identifying Deborah's parents would certainly prove Deborah's surname.

The above article also indicates that George's son Ebenezer was by second wife Deborah. Sharon places Ebenezer as a child of George's first wife Sarah Wade based on the year Sharon feels Ebenezer was born. Ebenezer is one of George's children whose birth isn't recorded in town records, so his birthdate is uncertain. Hopefully future research will clarify Ebenezer's birthdate and prove who his mother is.
