Comments

The only Osborn family that apparently lived in Pike Co., IN during the 1820s is the family of Eber Osborn-4399, so all of the marriages of Osborns (except the remarriage of his wife Sarah) occurring in Pike Co., IN during the 1820s are believed to be those of his children.

Also, recorded in Pike Co., IN Deed Book C, page 9 is a deed from Elias Osbourn to Sarah Osbourn, mentioning that Sarah Osbourn was mother of Elias, proving that Elias was son of Eber-4399.

Eber Osborn (Jr.)-10544 was married to Elizabeth Campbell and Elizabeth Osborn-10545 was married to John Finn. Members of the Campbell and Finn families are buried in Indian Mound Cemetery, the same small cemetery as was Eber Osborn-4399.

Elias Osborn had a land transaction in Pike Co., IN with a member of the Dedrick family. In the neigboring county of Gibson, a Dedrick was involved in the guardianship proceedings of Eunice (Osborn) Hulen's children.
