General Comments
The division of the property of Dorcas Osborn mentions only the share to son
John, but this is a 1/4 share, so it is known that there were a total of
4 children. The division of the estate of "Reuben and Dorcas" names only
children John and Esther Curtiss as Esther Curtiss had bought out the other
heirs' shares. However, Stephen Osborn was the administrator of the estate
of Reuben Osborn, so we know that he was one of the other children. That
leaves one child unknown. Examination of the deed for the purchase by
Esther of the other heirs' shares should reveal the identity of the 4th
child.
