Comments

A deed in Middlesex Co., MA Deed Book 225 on page 186 and another in Deed Book 265 on page 499 prove that John Osborn-11692 of Ware, Hampshire Co., MA and James Osborn-11652 of Wells (and later of Kennebunk), York Co., ME are the sons of John Osborn-11690 and Mary Kidder-11691 -- "The Genealogies and Estates of Charlestown, Massachusetts, 1629-1818" by Thomas B. Wyman is clearly incorrect when stating that John Osborn-11690's son James was married to a Rebecca and died in Keene.

After John Osborn-11652 died, his wife remarried to Paul Wyman and at some point the family moved to Woburn, MA, where his son James served in the Revolution before moving to Maine.

The deed on page 186 of Middlesex Co., MA Deed Book 225 also provides information that the land involved was inherited bequethed to John Osborn-11652's sons by the will of Isaac Kidder, indicating that Mary Kidder's father was Isaac Kidder.
