Comments
Much of the information on the children of Alexander Osborn-11006 comes from
the biography. Three daughters, Maria, Sally, and Melissa, are named. The
biography states that Alexander Osborn-11006's wife and youngest daughter
died in MA before Alexander had a chance to return to MA from OH. The names
of Alexander's children appear to be given in age order, so it seems likely
that it is Melissa that died about 1812. Another daughter is said to have
remained and married in MA, while Maria is explicitly mentioned to have
married Robert Smith and this is known to have occurred in Geauga Co., OH.
So Alexander Osborn's daughter Sally would be the daughter who remained in
MA.
