Comments

So far, direct evidence on the children of Jonathan Osborn-11002 is lacking. Biographical and census information shows however that Jonathan Osborn-11002 came from Blandford, MA and moved to Washington Co., NY and then Ashtabula Co., OH. Leverett also is known to have been born in Blandford, MA and in the 1830 Washington Co., NY census is a neighbor of Jonathan Osborn and then by 1840 Leverett is in Astabula Co., OH. Biographical records likewise show that Sarah Osborn was born in Blandford, MA and was married in Washington Co., NY before moving to Lake Co., OH.

So it would seem certain that Sarah and Leverett are related to Jonathan Osborn-11002 and most likely his children. The children for Jonathan's brothers David C. Osborn-11000 and Alexander Osborn-11006 are known (at least through 1802) so Leverett and Sarah are definitely known not to be children of David C. or Alexander-11006. The possibility that either or both of Leverett are children of Jonathan Osborn-11002's brother John Osborn-11001 remains open.
