LAKE FIVE.
Lawrence Nelis, a former resident of this place, died at his home in the
northern part of the state last week;  the remains were brought here Saturday,
the funeral took place Monday, interment in the Lake Five Catholic
cemetry<sic>.  Rev. Father Malone officiated.

was the Twon of Richfield in Washington Co.  ... Fourth, that the sole heirs
of dec'd were her three daughters, Winifred Mulheran, born 1 Feb 1853, Mary
Mulheran, born 11 March 1856, and Elinor Mulheran, born 8 Sep 1867.  Fifth,
the residence of petitioner is the City of Milwaukee, WI and the residence of

Ann Nelis dec'd are Ellen Reidy, Mary Nelis, Patrick Nelis, Felix Nelis, and
Eliza Nelis, that Lawrence Nelis one of the children of the dec'd mentioned
in her will, died since his mother made her will, leaving no widow or children

MICHAEL FAHEY, farmer, Sec. 27;  P.O. Richfield;  has 240 acres;  was born near
Wesford, County Mayo, Ireland, Oct. 1, 1813;  as the son of William Fahey;  he
came to America in 1841;  landed in Quebec, Canada, where he remained till
1844, when he moved to Town 9, Range 19(now Richfield);  he purchased his land
of the Government.  He was married, in Ireland, previous to coming to America,
in 1841, to Miss Mary Stanton, daughter of Patrick Stanton;  two children were
born to them before coming to WI -- William and Mary E.;  those born in
Washington Co. were John, Ann, Patrick (died in childhood), Bridget, Maria
(died when 20 years of age), Michael, Patrick S. and Kate.  Mr. Fahey was
elected Chairman of Richfield in 1854, and re-elected for four successive
terms;  since 1865, he has been agent-at-large for the Germantown Mutual
Insurance Co.;  has served as Justice of the Peace about fifteen years and
Notary seven years.
